Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP Michigan licensure required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY in progress
  • Experience in school and/or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
  • Ability to adapt interventions for students with diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students across K8th grade
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess communication disorders, diagnose needs, and document progress
  • Consult and support classroom staff with language-rich instructional strategies
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging atmosphere for all students
