Required Skills & Experience:
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials, with a focus on working in school-based settings
- Valid and active Michigan SLP certification required
- Experience in an educational environment preferred, bringing knowledge of best practices and school protocols
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Design and implement individualized IEP goals supporting each students growth
- Deliver direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in group formats
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Track progress and modify intervention approaches as necessary for student success
