Desired Skills & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Active state licensure, or eligibility to obtain appropriate Michigan licensure
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Background in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) with focus on measurable progress
- Work closely with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support
- Maintain student records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Conduct ongoing assessments and participate in student support meetings as needed
