Job Description

Exciting opportunities await speech-language pathologists seeking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students on the autism spectrum. This contract position, based near Detroit, MI, offers the chance to work on-site in a dynamic educational environment for the 20262027 school year (exact dates to be determined). You will provide dedicated speech therapy services to a caseload ranging from 4055 students within an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help students achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active state SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
  • Strong background in providing speech therapy in school settings, preferably with ASD populations
  • Previous experience managing individualized caseloads and supporting students with diverse communication needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, educators, and families to support student development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for ongoing educational planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress
  • Offer training and support to educational staff about speech and language best practices
