Job Description

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist passionate about making a difference in the lives of middle schoolers, while working within a collaborative school environment near Detroit, MI. Ideal candidates bring a blend of expertise in pediatric speech therapy, familiarity with the unique needs of adolescents, and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered care.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Michigan license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Prior experience working in a school setting
  • Background in pediatric or adolescent speech therapy; teletherapy experience is a plus
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for 6th-8th grade students
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy onsite in a supportive school environment
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute insight for each students educational progress
  • Deliver services with flexibility and creativity, adapting therapy to student needs and learning modalities
