A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Melvindale, MI, providing essential services to children aged 3 to 5 within a school setting. This onsite, contract position involves working directly with young learners to support their speech and language development in an educational environment.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Valid Michigan SLP license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Proven professional experience working as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to preschool-aged children
- Conducting evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in team meetings and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
