An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support in a school setting from December through March, covering a maternity leave. This position is located in Saint Clair Shores, MI, with a caseload of approximately 40 students. The role offers Monday through Friday hours from 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license
- CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
- Ability to manage a caseload involving various speech and language disabilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
This is a contract role within the educational environment, offering experience working closely with students aged 5 to 18, supporting communication development and academic success.
