Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience or familiarity with the K-12 population
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with school staff, parents, and students
- Confidence in managing a varied caseload and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers and other special education staff to develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services, progress, and IEP goals
- Communicate regularly with parents about progress and recommendations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Adapt interventions based on individual needs and student progress
This position is for a 3-day workweek, totaling 22.5 hours, giving you a balanced schedule to support your professional and personal goals.
