Job Description

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to create and implement individualized therapy and intervention plans
  • Familiarity with IEP development and documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to preschool and school-aged children
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Complete evaluations, maintain accurate and timely records, and collaborate in IEP meetings
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate carryover of strategies in and out of the classroom
  • Use evidence-based practices and keep up-to-date with the latest in pediatric speech-language research
  • Support students with a wide range of communication disorders to promote academic and social success
