Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to develop tailored treatment plans
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support students individualized goals
  • Provide direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small group settings
  • Offer consultation and training to school staff when appropriate
