Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Illinois
- Possess a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement
- SLP-CCC credentials required
- Experience providing speech and language services to pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and assessment to a varied caseload of students from early childhood to middle school age
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support the educational progress of each student
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation per district and legal guidelines
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
