Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant, supportive school setting. This onsite, full-time contract position is available for the 20262027 school year and is perfect for professionals passionate about helping children develop their communication skills.

Youll work closely with a manageable K-2 caseloadtypically fewer than ten studentsmany of whom are on the autism spectrum and utilize AAC devices. Collaborative support will be available, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals in the classroom, allowing you to focus on direct skill-building and individualized progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid NH SLP license
  • Prior experience in a school setting, especially with K-2 or students utilizing AAC, is beneficial

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-2 students
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide evidence-based speech therapy services in accordance with students needs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, RBTs, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
