Serving a high school caseload, youll collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome speech and communication challenges, ensuring academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders is required.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Eligible for or possession of state SLP licensure.
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to high school students.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success.
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education for school-based SLPs.
This contract offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and covers the full school year. Youll also enjoy weekly compensation, access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k retirement plan.
