Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners in an engaging, collaborative elementary school environment near Denver, CO. A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide direct services and assessments for an Intensive Pre-School Classroom, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth.

Preferred applicants hold the SLP-CCC credential; however, applications from strong SLP-CF candidates will be considered. This full-time assignment offers the chance to serve one campus, with a focus on preschool-aged students.

What you'll bring:

  • Valid SLP licensure and Colorado Department of Education certification
  • Experience or confidence working in a school setting
  • Familiarity with the IEP process: developing, implementing, and monitoring student progress
  • Strong assessment skills and commitment to evidence-based service delivery
  • Capacity for collaborating with families, teachers, and other specialists
  • Experience or readiness for providing guidance or supervision to SLPAs
  • Preference for candidates with ELL training, ESL, or Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to preschool students with a range of needs
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments
  • Write detailed progress reports aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators and other service providers
  • Support and monitor bilingual learners, utilizing specialized training where possible
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs as needed

This is an on-site position, requiring your presence at the school. Assignment is expected to run from 5/19/26, with approximately 37.5 hours per week dedicated to one campusRiverdale Elementary.
