Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a welcoming, student-focused environment in the northern suburbs of Denver. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit district of approximately 7,000 students, spread among 16 sites. Adventure Elementary seeks an SLP or SLP-CF who is bilingual in English and Spanish, ready to serve a diverse caseload ranging from Pre-K to sixth grade. Youll join a supportive team that embraces both new graduates and experienced clinicians alike.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential (Indicate your status upon application)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong supervision available for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Proficient in English and Spanish
- Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred, but not required for enthusiastic new grads
- Ability to work onsite (no hybrid or VOCO positions available)
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, develop service notes, and deliver direct speech therapy services for a caseload of 4050 Pre-K to 6th grade students (mild to severe needs)
- Manage monthly speech minutes as per student IEP requirements
- Serve as case manager for students with speech-only IEPs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and timely communication with staff and families
- Participate in a 2-step interview process, with flexibility around scheduling
