Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis in a vibrant educational environment near Denver, CO. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to address a variety of communication needs, helping children thrive academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Colorado (or eligibility)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfort using technology for documentation and virtual meetings as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of varying grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Offer direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming school culture that values all learners
