Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Denver area for the 2026-2027 academic year! We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to work on-site in school settings, providing essential speech and language services to student populations across elementary, middle, or high school levels. This full-time position (37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday) offers a manageable caseload between 25 and 45 students, varying by assignment. Youll have the chance to participate in and be compensated for district Professional Development days, enriching your expertise and impact during your assignment.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Colorado Department of Education certificate
- Current Colorado SLP license
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Open to clinical fellows (supervision can be provided)
- Must complete district background check and fingerprinting prior to start
- SLPA credentials are not accepted for this role
- On-site work only; virtual/remote work is not available
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across a range of grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain required documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide therapy tailored to students specific communication disorders and needs
- Attend and participate in paid district Professional Development opportunities
