Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Denver, CO area, focusing primarily on elementary-aged students within an established public school district. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the opportunity to support a varied caseload with a strong potential for renewal into the next school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to students, primarily within the elementary age group.
  • Manage a caseload typically ranging between 25 to 45 students.
  • Participate in and document professional development days as allowed by the district.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication and learning goals.
  • Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines, including required background checks and fingerprinting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Colorado SLP license.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
  • Open to varying caseload sizes within the elementary school setting.
  • Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district.

Location:

  • This role is based onsite within the Denver, CO area public schools.

Additional Information:

  • The position starts as soon as possible and extends through May 21, 2026, with a strong likelihood of contract renewal for the following school year.
  • The position is contingent on contract fulfillment and district assignment; multiple schools may be involved depending on the specific placement.
