Job Description

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-8 students within a dynamic K-12 educational environment in Denver, CO. The role is a part-time (20 hours per week), onsite contract position running from ASAP through the end of the current school year. The position focuses on providing specialized speech and language services tailored to the unique communication needs of students, predominantly within grades K-8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Special Education Teachers to develop daily schedules, coordinate testing procedures, and plan annual IEP meetings.
  • Maintain updated caseload records and ensure accurate communication with the Special Education department for master roster maintenance.
  • Deliver specially designed instruction through resource room sessions, inclusion, or pullout services to meet individual student goals.
  • Work in partnership with school staff and families to support student progress and ensure the achievement of speech-language therapy goals.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with at-risk or special education students preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
