Job Description

This full-time position is perfect for a highly qualified speech-language pathologist dedicated to fostering student success. Youll be delivering in-person speech services to a manageable caseload while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active NCDPI SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience in a school-based setting actively providing speech services
  • Proficient with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
  • Familiarity with writing Present Levels of Performance and annual IEP goals
  • Capable of conducting evaluations, screenings, and participation in IEP meetings
  • Must provide active licensure documentation upon application

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload not exceeding 50 students (current caseload: 39, with 6 Speech Only and 33 receiving speech as a related service)
  • Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations in compliance with federal and state mandates
  • Write clear, data-driven Present Levels of Performance and annual student goals
  • Participate as an engaged member in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff
  • Maintain accurate progress reports and documentation using ECATS
  • Support and educate families regarding students speech and language needs
