This opportunity is based at an onsite location within a supportive and collaborative district, where youll work closely with educators and families to help students achieve communication milestones.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist-CCC certification
- Current Maryland SLP license required
- Experience in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Ability to manage diverse K-12 caseloads
- Commitment to onsite service delivery (remote not available)
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultative services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document students progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service professionals
- Offer guidance and support to families regarding speech and language development
- Ensure compliance with state and district policies and reporting requirements
- Serve as an active participant in multidisciplinary team meetings
