Job Description

Step into a dynamic environment supporting students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. With a manageable caseload of 45-50 students, you'll provide specialized intervention for those with needs including OHI (Other Health Impairments), learning disabilities, autism, and language impairments.

What were looking for:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current MD SLP license
  • CCC-SLP certification
  • Direct experience in school-based settings, especially with secondary students, is highly valued
  • Ability to adapt techniques for a range of communication and developmental needs
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Compassionate approach with strong team collaboration

Your role will include:

  • Conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering therapy for a variety of disorders
  • Managing a caseload of approximately 45-50 students
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve student goals
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress notes
  • Participating in team meetings, providing expertise and input for student support planning
  • Supporting the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture
