Step into a dynamic environment supporting students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact with a secondary age group, working with a diverse group of learners. With a manageable caseload of 45-50 students, you'll provide specialized intervention for those with needs including OHI (Other Health Impairments), learning disabilities, autism, and language impairments.
What were looking for:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current MD SLP license
- CCC-SLP certification
- Direct experience in school-based settings, especially with secondary students, is highly valued
- Ability to adapt techniques for a range of communication and developmental needs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with strong team collaboration
Your role will include:
- Conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering therapy for a variety of disorders
- Managing a caseload of approximately 45-50 students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve student goals
- Maintaining accurate records and progress notes
- Participating in team meetings, providing expertise and input for student support planning
- Supporting the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture
