We are seeking dedicated professionals to serve elementary and middle school students for the remainder of the school year and beyond. Collaborate with supportive teams while delivering essential services at two dynamic locations for the current academic year, with the potential for a full five-day assignment next year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
- SLP-CCC certification or eligibility required; will consider Clinical Fellows (CF) needing supervision
- Bachelors degree clinicians will be considered for this year if willing to work under a temporary teaching certificate (not SLPA licensure)
- Prior experience providing speech/language services in a school setting is highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, addressing a variety of communication disorders
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet student needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
