Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working on-site within dynamic school settings near Delray Beach, FL. Multiple openings are available for certified SLP-CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) to provide exceptional support to students across a variety of elementary, secondary, and PreK-12 campuses within a vibrant district. This contract spans from June 10th to July 16th, 2026, with part-time schedules ranging from 20 to 26 hours weekly and assignments across several local school sites.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Florida Department of Health (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete district-required background checks
- Ability to work exclusively on-site (remote/virtual positions are not available)
- Versatile communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations, from PreK to high school
- Eligibility to successfully pass an internal and video interview process
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluation and therapy tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of services in compliance with district policies
- Engage with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies to promote student growth
- Rotate across designated locations, supporting assigned caseloads at multiple local schools
