Job Description

Are you a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your CCC, looking for a unique and flexible opportunity? This contract position offers a rewarding way to make a positive impact with a minimal time commitment near Delaware, OH. Serve a single school as part of the extended school year (ESY) program, supporting one student who requires a targeted 25-minute session per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure for Ohio, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with a student-centered, compassionate approach

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one 25-minute direct therapy session per week with the assigned student
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualized student goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal standards
  • Provide expert recommendations and family support as needed
  • Commit to the ESY schedule: June 8 26 and July 13 31
