Desired Skills and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation in educational environments
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and evaluations for students identified with speech, language, or communication concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of children
- Offer ongoing consultation and education to school staff on communication strategies
