Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility to obtain one as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and IEP reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Provide direct therapy services in group or individual settings
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to promote student success
