Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Texas SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but open to enthusiastic new graduates
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and therapeutic skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized direct therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
