A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support in a school setting located in Decatur, GA. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with experience in speech and language assessment, individualized treatment planning, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech and language goals.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff to support student communication development.
- Providing direct therapy services to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication challenges.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of student progress and compliance with district guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-age children in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques.

- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and adhere to confidentiality regulations.
