Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active and valid state licensure/certification for SLP in Georgia
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process, goal setting, and progress tracking
  • Proven skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals

  • Continually monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and relevant training sessions
  • Serve as an educational resource on speech and language development for staff and families
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
