Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and valid state licensure/certification for SLP in Georgia
- Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, goal setting, and progress tracking
- Proven skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to students with identified needs
- Continually monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and relevant training sessions
- Serve as an educational resource on speech and language development for staff and families
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
