What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred, but Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates considered
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certificate required (must obtain both eventually; either accepted initially)
- Experience working in K-12 schools or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to individual student needs and IEP goals
Role Includes:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students onsite during regular school hours
- Evaluating students and collaborating on the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Engaging in assessment, progress monitoring, and documentation according to school and state guidelines
- Communicating effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participating in team meetings and professional development as assigned
- Maintaining all required licensure, certification, and compliance documentation
