Make a meaningful impact working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity involves providing both therapy and evaluations for a manageable caseload across several campuses near Deatsville, AL. With multiple positions open and caseloads capped, you'll have room to focus on student progress and professional satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Active CCC-SLP credential required
- AL ASHA Certification
- AL Educator SLP Certificate (can start with pending status; details available at the Alabama Teacher Certification portal)
- Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to provide care and support to diverse student populations
- Flexibility to work across multiple campuses if needed
- Must provide therapy and evaluations (SLPAs not eligible for these positions)
Position Details:
- Contract position through end of academic year (ASAP May 27, 2027)
- 37.5 hours per week, onsite at assigned campuses
- No more than 60 students per SLP
- Serve students by delivering both direct therapy and assessments
- Caseloads include a blend of elementary, middle, and high school populations depending on campus assignment
Locations/Splits:
- Some roles are housed at a single school; others cover two or three nearby campuses
