Job Description

Make a meaningful impact within an elementary school setting, working with students in grades K-5 as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This in-person contract opportunity is located near Dearborn, MI, and offers both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and potential part-time options for interested professionals. The assignment runs through the remainder of the current school year, providing a rewarding experience supporting young learners on their educational journey.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure and ASHA certification (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, particularly with elementary-age students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for helping children achieve their individualized educational goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-5
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Assess, document, and monitor student progress according to IEP requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for educational planning
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to school policies and professional standards
