Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting (preferred but not required)
- Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient demeanor with a strong commitment to student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Document student performance and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as needed
