Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) mandatory
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students at multiple levels: early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement effective, data-driven treatment plans for a diverse caseload
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting methodologies for age and developmental stage
  • Consult with educators and families to support student progress and success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to assessment and goal development
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
