Job Description
Make a meaningful impact working with students by providing speech-language support in a collaborative school setting. This full-time contract opportunity is based near Dearborn, MI, serving a dedicated caseload within a single school, with an assignment running through June 7th, 2027. You'll work closely with a supportive team to deliver personalized interventions and foster student growth.
Qualifications:
- Active MI Speech-Language Pathology license
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with SB (Speech and Language Impairment) endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience with developmentally disabled students is especially valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to middle school-aged students through 26 years of age
- Conduct assessments and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Utilize teletherapy and on-site service delivery as appropriate
- Support the schools goals by engaging in professional development and team meetings
