Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an ASD elementary setting for the 20262027 school year. This onsite role offers the chance to work closely with a small, dedicated caseload of approximately 25 students, making a significant impact in their academic and social development.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and background:
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings, especially with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within educational teams
- Commitment to supporting students diverse needs and abilities
- Ability to work onsite for the entirety of the contract
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in an ASD-specific program
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student communication and growth
