This full-time, onsite contract role focuses on delivering exceptional speech and language services to students in 6th through 8th grade. What you'll bring:
- Current Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working in a school setting
- Skills in pediatric and adolescent speech therapy
- Experience or interest in teletherapy and SLP Clinical Fellowship (CFY) are advantageous
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for middle school students with speech or language disorders
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records and documentation of student goals, progress, and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
- Stay current with latest best practices and continuing education for school-based SLPs
