Job Description

A contract position is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting in Dearborn, MI. This full-time opportunity runs from ASAP through March to cover maternity leave, serving approximately 40 students with diverse communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan SLP certification.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings with pediatric caseloads.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:10 PM full time.
