Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan is required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) must be current
- Previous experience in school settings, serving diverse student populations, is strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively across Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School levels
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct/indirect therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state standards
- Provide consultation and resources for classroom teachers and families
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Adapt and modify interventions based on individual student progress and needs
