Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure or eligibility in Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates will be considered
• Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
• Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups according to IEP goals
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and other special education staff
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing input regarding students progress and recommended supports
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere to help students develop confidence and communication skills
