Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is strongly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
  • Competence in assessment, intervention, and documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in educational speech-language pathology
