Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active and valid SLP license (or eligibility) in Ohio
  • Prior school-based experience preferred; experience across elementary, middle, and high school populations highly valued
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student needs and learning levels
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Comfort with IEP processes and collaboration with both educators and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students needing speech and language services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy for a variety of communication disorders
  • Engage in regular progress monitoring and maintain detailed documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Provide resources, education, and support to staff and caregivers regarding best practices and strategies
