Make a meaningful impact as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide overflow services alongside experienced, established staff at two vibrant elementary schools. The assignment spans from August 18th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027, consisting of three full workdays per week. Hours closely follow the school day8:44am to 3:40pmencouraging a healthy work-life balance and consistent schedule.

Utilize your clinical expertise to facilitate progress among students, ensuring every child receives the speech and language support required for educational success. This position is ideal for professionals seeking part-time hours within a collaborative school community.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP) in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience providing services in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Familiarity with best practices in assessment, IEP development, and therapy implementation
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students as an overflow SLP
  • Support existing full-time and part-time SLPs at both Schickler and Lynch Elementary
  • Conduct standardized assessments, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to address students individual needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and follow compliance regulations
