Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Maintain clear and accurate records to comply with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
