This contract role offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services to K-5 elementary students at a single school location in Davenport, FL. The position is onsite and allows for a flexible schedule of 20-28 hours per week, spread over 3-4 days.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and implement individualized therapy plans for students in grades K-5.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and school guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP CCC) required.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and school personnel.
