Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or willingness to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Comfort with individualized education plan (IEP) processes and documentation
  • Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders through standardized testing and observation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, services, progress, and outcomes
  • Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers to support student communication
  • Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
