Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-5th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Located near Ringgold, GA, this full-time position offers the chance to help young learners develop crucial communication and language skills. The assignment begins on August 3, 2026, and continues through May 25, 2027, providing stability for the entire academic year.
In this role, youll deliver targeted therapy, manage IEPs, and collaborate closely with teachers and families to foster student success. A supportive school setting and dedicated multidisciplinary team will be your partners every step of the way.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school environmentor a strong desire to begin your school-based career
- Familiarity with K-5th grade developmental needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech-language disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in school-wide meetings and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
