Key Qualifications:
- Current Georgia SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- School-based experience or strong interest in working in educational environments
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists for comprehensive student support
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
What You'll Do:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments and participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct intervention, consultation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into academic activities
- Maintain accurate case files and compliance with school and state regulations
- Offer training and support to teachers and families to enhance carryover of speech and language strategies
