Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid SLP license in Texas (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families from diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy for speech and language disorders to school-aged children
  • Document progress and maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to support student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
  • Adapt intervention strategies to meet students' personalized needs
