Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a Dallas, TX school setting. This role involves providing speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and collaboration with educators to enhance student communication skills and academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students needs
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (state-specific credentials preferred)
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
  • Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with school-based special education processes and documentation requirements
