Ideal Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Hold or be able to obtain relevant state licensure for speech language pathology
- Previous experience delivering therapy in pediatric or school-based settings
- Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments according to IDEA guidelines
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans within the IEP framework
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students classroom participation and progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute clinical expertise to student success plans
