Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid SLP license in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Flexible, collaborative, and committed to fostering student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy in both individual and small group settings
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student needs
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Offer resources and strategies for teachers and families to generalize skills beyond therapy sessions
• Stay updated with new trends and best practices in the field
